..was last night. So great. After tinkering so long at home, I finally got the monome to the stage! Just dipping my toe, but used mlrv to trigger samples and do some slicing.
I think I have some work to do working out levels with the rest of the band, but I had a lot of fun..
Anyone have any suggestions working out levels and eq with the rest of the band in a live setting. I find life in the headphones is drastically different from amplifying with the live band. -
what sort of sounds are your playing out? drums, bass?

Well mostly moog samples, soundscapes and bleeps, but where I'm having trouble is when I try to layer in vocal samples, spoken word seems really low end and doesn't cut unless I bring it up way too loud for the overall mix.
