Electric Daisy Carnival Experience

Like electronic music? Hate dancing? Attend the festival from the comfort of your local movie theatre!

I kid, but it's sort of genius.

Air conditioning and popcorn, and good sound through the whole venue? Seriously.

  • "the most prestigious electronic music festival on the planet."

    really?

  • My room mate was just there performing on his tron styled flatland BMX bike, he seemed to have a pretty good time, I wonder if he is gonna be in any of this footage.

  • having gone to EDC two times i am curious as to what aspects of the movie theater experience will parallel the live experience... SHENANIGANS nationwide to say the least.

  • Shenanigans, indeed.

Ah, the power of social media.

Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your continued support of AMC Theatres.

  • it's not cancelled altogether. Just a bunch of theaters have pulled out. Which I'm calling a recipe for disaster.

I mean, if there was really any threat of violence breaking out at the screenings, it's much more likely now. Less tickets, more publicity. This wasn't handled well.

  • Perhaps after last year's problems (http://articles.latimes.com/2010/jun/30/local/la-me-rave-death-20100630) they wanted to to shift liability to movie theaters...
