when i go to calibrate tilt it is very jerky not smooth. let me know if any one can help. currently running monome serial with a gs64

what do you mean by jerky? the tilt is a pretty noisy signal as it's detecting very tiny movements, no matter how steady you think your hand is.

when i go to calibrate it. it moves very abuptly when i did it before it would move pretty smoothly as i rotate it. is there a way to test the tilt

i doubt anything could go wrong with the tilt sensor, so did anything change in your setup?
