monome 256 and midilfe

    can someone tell me how to run midilife_0.50.mxb under osx? i opened monomeserial, started the .mxb, prefix setted to /life. but no reaction on the monome...

    do i need chuck? what is chuck? how to install, what to do?

    Yes, you need ChucK, or more precisely a ChucK runtime. Check out miniAudicle:

    The midilife patch basically just intercepts /led messages from ChucK and sends them back out as MIDI.
