grainstorm: can you use the keyboard to activate on/off instead of a grid?

    Hi all,
    Trying to put together a live set with my 256 and arc 4. I am trying to find a way to use grainstorm with out a grid to activate the file. I know I can use quadrants to split my 256, but trying to avoid the hassle.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
