My 64 for sale (Iceland)

  • It's sad, but true. I've listed my 64 on eBay: http://bit.ly/LSajt

I know I'll regret it later, but I just feel that someone out there needs it more than I do. I don't want it to go unused on my shelf, as it's been for a few months now.

    But still... sigh...

Anyway, I'm in Iceland, so I'm afraid that shipping costs cannot be avoided...

btw. I only set a reserve price because I already got an offer for it here. I just can barely part with it for that amount, but I will maybe if the eBay thing won't work out. Or I'll use it as an excuse not to sell it... I just need the money. Three mouthes to feed with the fourth one due in the next few days, not to mention I'm living in Iceland, the textbook example of the completely collapsed financial system.

25 minutes left to get it...

  • well, i had to put the reserve at $450. the thing is, I got an offer from someone here for around $400 and the extra $50 is just to make it worth it, due to eBay fees and such.
I know the 64's are just $50 more expensive straight from the source, although I also had to pay a handsome amount for customs here, plus the shipping, which makes it quite more, but as I said, since I already got an offer...
When it all comes down to it, I'm selling off a piece of me. It's like slicing off a thumb from my music making abilities. It's hard to put a value on thumbs... I'm not even sure if the $400 the icelandic guy offered will do the trick for me...

  • Well, just over one more day left and it's up to $505 and has been there for a few days.
