anyone ever messed with one?
kinda thinking of picking one up...
(after saving for a while, for the damn expensive thing)
never got the chance to mess with one,
and im wondering if someone with hands on could give a dude a recommendation...
my new stuff is coming together without finger drumming...
and im looking for a hub to control everything....

well...
what im thinking, is having around 14 tracks in ableton with things going on....
these 14 or so track would feed 4 busses with various effects and things...
the 4 busses would be sent to the 4 channels of the DB4 along with MIDI clock...
so you get an effect, filters, volume fader and a looper on each of the 4 busses..
the mixer is acting as you sound card..
and at a show you could just get the sound guy the xlr outs...
no DI necessary!
so far i have a few songs working well in this format...
and ive built out a pretty functional and fun maschine MIDI template to control all the ableton side......
the DB4 is just HELLA expensive....
so i wanna get some opinions before i start scapping $$$$$ together yo...
