I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some subtly expressive traditional/"acoustic" style patches built for soundplane control. Not as a deciding factor, though; I'm pretty much buying this the moment Randy puts up an "order" link.

interesting how you can interact with different modeled materials. aalto is a beautiful vst and it seems that kaivo will offer a different array of dynamics.

@away message I totally agree, I think the two would work great together. Aalto is beautifully nostalgic but Kaivo seems to have its flag planted in more modern synth techniques. Can't. Wait.
