Just got a 40h and followed the setup. The command says everything is working ok but still no drop down to connect device. Running Mavericks on a Mac Book Pro. Any ideas??

can you post a photo of your 40h to confirm the type? do you get a light startup pattern when you plug it in?

its from a kit, not an original 40h

Its registered it as a 40h on monomeserial. No drop down on sum no

quit monomeserial. reboot. then try sum without running monomeserial.
monomeserial is long deprecated. -

I cant see serialosc in activities. Do you think thats what it is??

if serialosc isn't in your activity monitor there's a problem. try reinstalling. use the installer on the setup page.

Ok its working in sum now. Thank you. Now for the long task of routing it to Live. Any discussions i should check out??

I cant the monome to show in max still. Any ideas on what it could be??

did you copy serialosc.maxpat to /Applications/Max6/patches ?
