i'm trying to figure out how to do faders on my 256 using /grid/led/col. could anyone tell me why in the 'slide' patch from monome base the faders are upside down/ how to make them right side up?

it remains a mystery

elquinto, did you take a look at serialosc-devtools : http://monome.org/docs/tech:dev:tools
-
In the monome_base4.4 that I'm using, the sliders go from bottom to top. I'll try the 4.5
-
and in 4.5.1 the sliders go up from the bottom, unless I rotate the device 180 in the serialosc bpatcher.

thx. i'll take a look at the serialosc devtools. everything /led/col or /led/row related in monome base 4.5 appears to be broken on 256. (i had to modify slide to get led feedback on the bottom half)
-
ahhh, i didn't try that on the 256. sorry! That was on 40h.

elquinto,
I tried this on my 64 and my 256, they are both upside down as far as i can tell. If I put my cable out the left side, and set the orientation in serialosc to "0," the leds cascade down from the top. This is in the 4.5.1 I got from your dropbox.

hi elquinto
not sure if you've got this working yet but, to me, it looks like slide in 4.5.1 was written to have the top to bottom behaviour (not sure about previous versions of slide and/or base).
i've attached what works as a 'bottom to top' quick fix for me if you want/need it. -
hi elquinto, here's a bunch of sliders for m4l. created the device some time ago - revised it recently. it's using /col as well.

thank u very much guys :)
