Hey wanted to post some progress with a DIY project.
Now designed a generative voronoi geometry that fit to the pcbs of the kit, and then 3d printed it in a crazy 9 hour and another 13 hour run.
Was realy suprised how it turned out.
It is a kit from bibo with a plexiglas faceplate of another arduinome together with a 3d printed voronoi case design ive beeen working on.
Guess I will post a tutorial how to do soon since it basicaly can be applied to all kind of devices and cases

whoa, this is insanely weird and impressive!

Wild!

Yea its crazy. First I wanted to write a geometry shader that should do this but then I found out that someone did that already. It is a Blender plugin called CellFracture which is made for breaking up geometry in a realistic way.
Since breaking up things is modeled with voronoi structure all I needed to do was to set the distance between fractures big enough and make a boolean on another model I prepared which is a solid case with the right meassurements.
Endless variations possible! -
@tehn Do you want to make a special edition? :)

Crazy, unique, beautiful.

certainly one-of-a-kind!
