recently got a new computer and i've been running max5 runtime on it, but some of my applications aren't functioning properly. i attempted to get max 4 runtime, but it won't let me install. it says it cannot because i already have a newer version of max on my computer. suggestions?

what version of the runtime are you using? there are some problems with 5.1.
try renaming the folder of max5 and then installing 4. might work. -
Using Max 5.0.6. Tried trashing preferences and renaming. Not working.
