  • Robot Push Key - Chrysalis
As the album is released this saturday, I put together this video for Chrysalis to get the hype started. :P :) It's a kinda remix of an old video by Aujik called Ordo. http://www.aujik.com/

The first review! :) "The combination of which creates a lovely echoey chamber of sound that clangs and rattles along like an old freight train." http://www.fracturezine.com/index.cfm?action=view&type=Content&id=36

  • FS: Kenton Killamix
There are usually a surge of bids just before an auction ends. Quite possibly someone else might snatch it.

Hehe, yeah the arc would definitely be a step up. Probably overkill for what I'm planning tho, a Killamix would be perfect.

There, my bid pushed it up a bit. Could really use one of these. :)

I'd bid if you would ship to Sweden. I've been eyeing one these as a compact alternative to my bcr-2000.

Ah yeah, I thought I had seen it somewhere before. Anyways, looks really fun. :)

Very cool! How about putting the monome on top of the table with a reactable symbol underneath? :)

+1 on Sword & Sworcery. Excellent integration of the soundtrack, especially the fights get an epic feel to them. Beautiful pixel graphics. Also enjoyed Machinarium recently.

Yes, I was thinking for a future version. Wow, native support for all that gear. Could make Pages a commercially viable project.

Allow me to brain storm a bit about possible pattern recorder features: Short press to switch on/off without erasing. Long press to erase. Press and hold (which erases content) and push buttons below to select pattern length. 1 - 8 steps on a mon…

Exciting news for the most useful Monome-app around! I hope you give some love to the pattern recorders. I'm thinking muting sequences without erasing, a little cheeky feature request. ;)

Seem like it could be some double message thing going on. I notice that the mutes actually work for a very short time, then switch off again. And there is this play button with the same problem. Stopping work fine but play doesn't "stick&q…

I'm back, now working on a small temporary setup. Using 0.2.2a33. Pattern recorders seem to be working better than ever. I could change length without restarting. :) Running Renoise:Duplex:GridPie through external app page work pretty wel…

  • Step sequencer with controllable velocity?
Try using SN1 mode. Press and hold "edit steps" will let you set velocity for each step. "JAM" will let you record notes into active sequences, where most left button on the row is the lowest velocity, and furthest right is max v…

  • Step sequencer with controllable velocity?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are looking for? You can set velocity for each individual step in Molar.

  • Step sequencer with controllable velocity?
Why not Molar? I used to set up all the top rows as MIDI step sequencer, only the two last rows as mlr-type looper.

  • Renoise - Grid Pie (clip launching)
[bump] @danoise: Sorry I can't help much more than with testing or bumping this topic. Well I'm still glad it works with monomeserial, but it would be sweet if I could use it with Pages inbetween.

I'm trying to run Duplex in Renoise through Pages external application page. But some things aren't working properly. Some buttons doesn't respond as expected. But when I use monomeserial directly it works: http://www.renoise.com/boar…

This is really cool! But there seem to be some confusion regarding serialOSC. Anyone like to give Danoise a hand? http://www.renoise.com/board/index.php?/topic/27886-duplex-beta-versions/page__view__findpost__p__262433

Trying out the Ableton Live Looper page, very fun to record on the fly. Would be even more fun if there was a copy/paste-clip function included, so I could overdub a copy of a previous clip instead of starting from scratch.

  • Molar VSTi (1.0b29 - 21 Nov 2010)
Are you using serial osc or monomeserial?

  • Molar VSTi (1.0b29 - 21 Nov 2010)
No I think it hasn't been updated in a while, so it still uses monomeserial. You have to use a bridge like Pages or monomepseudorial.

  • Renoise - Grid Pie (clip launching)
You could certainly do it with lua+osc, or perhaps PD. Or wait. There are plans to port Grid Pie into Duplex.

  • Robot Push Key - Live 20110917
Yep, I used Duplex: Record to record loops on one part. Mostly Renoise just ran a simple MIDI sequence while I tweaked the gear. And I also used line-in through effects chain.

  • variable brightness upgrade status
I would be most interested in a diy upgrade for my 40h as soon as there are enough good apps that use variable brightness. I wouldn't like to be "left behind" if/when more and more apps start using it.
