  • vintage monome faceplates, CHEAP!!!
I might be interested in buying one in the near future, I had a question last time you posted this http://monome.org/community/discussion/16699/old-skool-faceplates-for-sale#Item_4 I would be interested in a 265 faceplate, what are the outside dime…

  • Old-Skool faceplates for sale
Looks good, if I get my mk responsiveness fixed I might pick up one of these. The perspex one I made a few years back is not doing the best. What are the exact outside dimensions of the faceplate? wondering how well it will fit in my current enclos…

  • mk firmware / serialosc
The pads are completely fine. The soldering would have been ok but there was not enough length left on the leg that broke to do it. I suspect the cap is something around 4.7u but if you look at the mk board it has 4.7k in the mask? This is quite co…

@ tehn Since you are having a clear-out of old parts I figured I better spend some more time on my problem. I might need some of those parts.... I have come across two things that might shed some light on my issue. I tracked down some of th…

  • I need press very hard some buttons to work
@ elquinto What device do you have? Your problem sounds very similar to mine. I only have the issue when I update my mk to the serialOSC firmware. When I revert to an older firmware the responsive issue is fixed. If we have a similar issue…

  • Looking for a controller with nice faders!
I built myself a controller last year using an Arduino. The only way I could get OSC was to build a Max patch that converts the serial to OSC. I used MIDI in my case as it was easier to use with Ableton. I'm sure I still have my Arduino code a…

hey tehn do you think you will have any free time in the near future to have another stab at this problem? I have no immediate gigs coming up but would like to get my practice on.

  • Help resurrecting a 2008 40h monome
I think the first thing you should check is the orientation of the diode for the 3 buttons that are not working. This seems like a likely cause to me

  • mk firmware / serialosc
@ tehn During the week I took all the button pad assemblies apart and cleaned all the pads/contacts. I did this to rule out a button pad issue and I am now sure that the buttons are not at fault. Are you testing this firmware on an mk logic b…

  • mk firmware / serialosc
@ tehn Unfortunately this does not improve the firmware on my monome. I used the default code but my keypads are the old type. I assume the only difference is the rotation of each 8x8 pad and that it wouldn't effect performance.

@tehn ok, I got a windows system sorted which I will be using for the next few months. I tried to update it to the serialOSC firmware and I am still having the unresponsive button problem. I took videos of before the update and after the update,…

  • mk firmware / serialosc
@ Tehn, thanks for the reply but unfortunately it seems like the logic board has burnt out on my mac. Can't complain since i've got well over four years out of it! This means I can't do any real testing until I get a computer sorte…

@ Tehn Will there be a new MK logic board produced to avail of the 16 levels of brightness per LED? I still have misfires on my Mk logic board with old button pads, I tried to update to the serialOSC firmware to solve this but I was then plagu…

Its a pity ST8, take your time with it. As much as I was looking forward to testing this, I have no problem with waiting until you are ready to release something. I tried to port something myself but I give up since Livecontrol is pretty rock solid …

I run touchOSC on an iPad 1 and have no issues what so ever with it. Starting to mess around with the Lemur app but haven't found much time to program with it.
