These are 2 simple options here using a toggle or a counter object. Don't have a monome handy at work, but almost positive that would do the trick.

I've been using the most recent mlr (to my knowledge) in max 6 w/o issue. I've also been using the aes mlr build for max for live w/o any major issues which i'd attribute to max 6.
