  • porting polygome m4l from beap.. need help
I found a thread about this in the issue list on github. In the meantime I fixed the height and things seem to be working. In case anyone's interested here it is.

  • porting polygome m4l from beap.. need help
So I did this with the current BEAP version and can't get it to work properly. The device seems to send out unusually low midi notes. like something doesn't initialize properly. Apart from that the Polygome module now has dimensions that …

  • Serialosc intensity and levels api
Brian, maybe you can comment on my question about Flin and brightness = 4? I've tried the standalone Flin 0.6.2, but that one uses different osc messages and doesn't seem to be compatible with the new serialosc or something. At least it d…

  • Serialosc intensity and levels api
Ok I really hope so :) This thing will be pretty much plug and play. On the downside it prevents you from using the official serialosc simultaneously because in order to emulate it it's listening on 12002.

  • Serialosc intensity and levels api
Thanks Raja that was a very clear explanation. I got it. Everything is working smoothly with all the apps I've tried. I'm really enjoying my fake grids. There are so many inspiring apps available I feel almost guilty for not buying the off…

  • Status quo of Launchpad emulation
Ah I remember I came across gridlock but the website scared me and I thought I had to donate. I didn't read properly. Maybe I was blinded by all the wonderful graphics :) But it seems like a very bloated and not particularly well developed proj…

  • nonome - monome emulator for Novation Launchpad - 1.24a + 7up_v2
@dorandragic same here. Can't get any response out nonome with my launchpad mini. The project looks ancient and the patch quite messy. I hope someone is still maintaining it cause I can't afford to start another pet-project at this time :\

Great. Everything's back to normal. I just really liked the idea of led levels. Looks like I'll have to start saving then... A bit off topic maybe but is there an overview of what has changed since the early units? Have they been im…

  • mk firmware / serialosc
Just to add some details. I renamed my original m256-079 serial to m0000079 (using piraterename). I then ran the "make boot" after changing the makefile to match my serial, and got the following output: avrdude -p m325 -b 115200 …

Hi Steve, I'm using an intel mac with OS10.5.2/Logic8.01 The notes are coming in at the correct velocity (100) and pitch (C1). I've done a little recording of the output from Molar. You can see that the notes are doubled in the botto…

  • Molar VSTi (1.0b29 - 21 Nov 2010)
I'm struggling to get Molar to work with Logic8. Almost all of the notes that are send from Molar through the IAC bus are doubled, with a small delay. I say "almost" because one out of many is not. Seems random. The delay is not compl…

  • /frame not working on 256
Thanks guys, I'm still puzzled though. The "toMonome" is just a bit of max patching to automatically prepend a (dynamic) prefix to any messages, and pass them on to MonomeSerial. It does not change the messages in any way. I don'…

Yep those are the specs I'm looking at. That message is definitely not working on my system. The frame message like you suggested doesn't do anything, and some other combinations just give me unexpected results. Cheers

  • MonomeSerial OSX -- Latest Build: June 25, 2008
I can't figure out how to use /frame on the 256. According to the OSC specifications only one byte is used for every row, so that would cover only 8x8 leds. I tried using the optional x y offset parameters, to cover the space in 4 separate fram…

It seems that the led_row, led_col messages are still using the 40h (8bit) range. I can only control 8x8 leds with them. If I go above 255 the leds start at 0 data again, so everything apart from the first 8 bits seems to be trashed. Same problem…
